This is one of the forts that defended the island from the invading pirates. My dad LOVES the history of this place. Though I share his sentiments, I particularly LOVE the view. Apparently, my dad feels that he was born in the wrong century. Hovering over a large cannon, my dad said, "Oh yeah, I would've been a vicious pirate."

I love this kind of stuff- Our friends are going to school there next year and we are planning a trip down there... It should be nice... I love all the pictures!
We went here...it's so cool isn't it? I love the history...especially at places that are REALLY old...to think what happened years before where you are standing! Nuts huh?
