Brady's Homecoming/Parks Family Vacation

Quin's little brother, Brady, just got home from his 2-year mission in Brazil.  Yay!!  We're always happy to have a reason to get to Colorado in the summertime, especially if that means a week at the lake with the fam!

A week at the lake is how the Parks family rolls!  This is the perfect vacation for our whole family.

honestly, our kids could play in the dirt for days without eating, drinking or sleeping!

You have to click on this picture and look at each of their faces individually.  You'd think we told them all to make a funny face.  Love these kiddos!

I think that face sums up our time at the lake.  We all really enjoyed ourselves despite the fact that 14 out of the 16 of us got sick with some awful stomach virus (thanks to our little family - sorry!).  And we're happy to report that we survived Emerson's first night terror, which totally freaked us out because Miller has never had a night terror.

The only problem with spending a full week at a beautiful lake with perfect weather is that now Miller wonders why it's so hot outside.  We'll have to spend the rest of our Texas summers in the water!

Love Miller's hair and Emerson's headband... Night terrors are scary- it's like they're looking right at you, but have no clue where they are... Hope you're all feeling better!
