breakfast inspiration

A few weeks ago we started having our family scripture study at the breakfast table.  The kids usually wake up shortly before Quin needs to get ready for work (that's the beauty of working 2 minutes from home), so we have just enough time to eat and read.

Last week, I read a chapter (or half a chapter) and when I was finished, Miller looked up from his cereal and said, "Read more scriptures, mommy.  Good jobbers reading."

This morning, we sat down to breakfast and before I even swallowed my first bite (I had forgotten my scriptures on the counter), Miller said, "Mommy, read scriptures!"
